Agronomic performance in different segregating soybean progenies

The estimate of variance component and genetic parameters for soybean grain yield in the northwestern region state Rio Grande do Sul is 17% due to effects 83% environment, management, practices used. Thus, we aimed evaluate performance quantitative qualitative agronomic characteristics progenies segregating generations F1, F2, F3, F4, F5, as well interrelationships these variables their benefits breeding. Field trials were conducted from 2012 2020 Campos Borges, Sul. that showed greatest fluctuations during pod insertion, number pods on main stem, with two seeds, four seeds. Taller plants F1 F3 had a greater one, two, three seeds; thus, plant size increased, increased. As progressed, there was reduction cycle an increase seed mass per plant, consequently tending be more productive.
